Several people, including two children, were injured on Monday evening in a multi-car accident at the intersection of Big Pine and Barber Mill Roads outside of Clayton.

A driver could not give in at the intersection, which led to a crash.

Then followed a second crash after a third car hadn't seen the original crash when he drove on the dark road.

All participants were brought to Wakemed for their injuries. Wral is working on confirming the exact number of injuries.
