Bemidji, MN (Kroc-am News)- The authorities in North -Minnesota examine the death of a man whose body was found in an apartment that reported a gas leak.

In a press release from the Bemidji police authority, first aiders also found a woman and a child in the apartment.

The responding officials discovered a strong smell near the apartment where the dead man was. The woman and the child were in the same unit, according to the press release.

The paramedics began to treat the woman and the child, the law enforcement evacuated the rest of the apartment complex and the Bemidji fire brigade dealt with the potential threat from gas leaks.

The woman and the child were taken to a hospital for treatment. Minnesota Energy reacted to the scene and found that there was no gas leaf, the police said.

All residents of the apartment complex were allowed to return, and criminal prosecution ceased to investigate the death of the man.

His name was not published and an update about the conditions of the woman and the child is not available.
