Carjacking suspects who are caught in North Bay; A shot, injured

Carjacking and shots started in Vacaville early Sunday, but it didn't end well for two suspects who were discovered and arrested in Fairfield 25 minutes later, a suspicious injured after showing his firearm on a police officer.

The officer gave orders to the remaining man who was armed with a pistol and added that the man ignored the commands and judged his gun on the officer. The officer answered and shot at the man who suffered at least one firing wound.

The officials provided medical help at the scene and the man was taken to a local hospital. He is expected to survive. No officers were injured.

The second man was arrested by officers and a K-9 officer.

According to the social media post-department, the incident protocol team involved by Solano County Officer reacted control over the examination.

Fairfield police officers said press inquiries about carjacking, shots, arrests and ongoing investigations were to the public prosecutor's office of the Solano district.

In a text late Monday afternoon, district prosecutor Krishna Abrams said further information on Tuesday.

The Mayor of Fairfield, Catherine Moy, praised the Fairfield police for her answer in her own social media contribution. “You can see the professionalism of the Fairfield Police Department in this event,” she said, adding: “Morality of history: If you run and try to hide in Fairfield, we will nail them down. So stay away from my city if you violate the law.”
