Intel Panther Lake Leck shows CPU and GPU core number, TDPS and more

We “know” a lot about Intel's upcoming Panther Lake processor, but a large part of the information we came from Leckages not from an official source. Understandably, leakage loaths to share their sources. Well, a few critical information about Intel -Panther -Lake processors have just been confirmed by source gymnastics that were pushed onto Intel's Perfmon utility. In particular, we know that Panther Lake will use the architecture Cougar Cove and Darkmont CPU.

The microprocessor architecture enthusiast and the long-time programmer Instlatx64 shared the details of X after discovering the update on Perfmon. The information is pretty simple, right there in the code. However, these are not the only details that were recently unveiled by Panther Lake.

At the same time, the X user @Meng59739449 (from which we previously heard) shared the well -known CPU core configurations by Panther Lake. This information was largely known or at least “known”, thanks to the regular delicious -Jaykihn, but the information from Meng contains some new details, including the existence of a 4+8+0 configuration and the TDPS for each chip.

The information about the new 45-W-SKU with 4 P-cores and 8 e-cores is fascinating because you are reflected in the configuration of AMD-Ryzen-AI-300 processors, which also use four “fast” kernels and eight slower seeds, although there is a key difference in the AMDS chips for all Twelve CPUs. AMDS SoCs also have a much larger GPU-on level, which indicates that Intel intends this skus for use with a discrete GPUS.

Of course, this assumes that all of this information is correct. We still have no official sources about the data from Jaykihn or Meng. Nevertheless, everything looks plausible and there is not much reason to doubt the leaks. Hopefully we will soon hear more about Panther Lake from Intel's mouth because he is expected in the second half of this year.
