Death in the north of Mendocino County, which was examined as a murder

An owner informed the investigators that an employee may have been injured or killed. The victim was discovered after a comprehensive search under rubble, the investigators said.

A death on a remote property in the north of Mendocino County this month is examined as a murder, the officials said on Monday.

According to the Mendocino County's Sheriff, the examination focuses on real estate in the 68000 block of the Bell Springs Road. The site is about 30 miles east of Piercy, a municipality, about three miles south of the Humboldt County border.

Around 12:50 p.m. on Thursday, the owner contacted the investigators after driving from Texas for two days. She asked for an escort for an employee for an employee who lived on the property, but had not been reached since May 5.

It took several hours to reach the rural, 100 hectare plot of land, which, according to the office of the sheriff, was behind several closed goals and “extremely difficult to access”.

An hourly real estate search continued until the evening and led to human remains and proves for cannabis cultivation. “It seemed that the human remains were partly with loose ruins and foliage hidden to hide the deceased,” the officials wrote in a press release on Monday.

The investigators stayed on site overnight and continued the investigation on Friday morning. The investigators helped with the sheriff of the Humboldt County.

The body agreed with the description of the employee, but was not identified due to its decomposition, officials said on Monday.

Anyone with information can call the Sheriff of the Mendocino County under the number 707-463-4086 or anonymously via a non-emergency tip line under 707-234-2100.
