NBA insider names Celtics' Derrick White as a potential war trade goal

The Ringer's Logan Murdock is of the opinion that the Golden State Warriors could decide in this low season to address the Boston Celtics Guard Derrick White.

“I think Zach Lowe Show.

Murdock continued: “This is someone you should look at. Only someone who can play defense and even all settle down, especially if you have a young group like this.”

White scored an average of 16.4 points last season on 16.4 points, while he added 0.9 steals and 1.1 blocks per game as one of the top two ways of the NBA.

He also shot 38.4 percent behind the bow with a career high of 9.1 tries per game, an appealing quality for a team that was largely based on Stephen Curry to score three points last season.

White signed an extension of four years by $ 125 million last summer, which will occur next season. The deal blocked it by 2027-28 with a player option at the age of 34 at the age of 34 in 2028-29.

After the five-game elimination of this spring from the conference semi-final, the warriors have to turn around quickly if the franchise wants to use the remaining years of Curry and Draymond Green.

The leadership of Warriors pointed out that the franchise is defined this season after Jimmy Butler III was added.

However, if Celtics are decided to separate some of their core players in the opinion of the Achilles surgery of Jayson Tatum and a balloon salary statement, the warriors could consider white in order to improve both the defense and three-point pushing.
