Pitt Panthers' Bub Carrington makes NBA all-rookie team

Pittsburgh – The former Pitt Panthers Guard Bub Carrington was excellent in his first season in the NBA and received recognition for his play.

Carrington, who plays for Washington Wizards, earned a place in the second team of the NBA All-Rokie, received three voices of the first and 47 voices that end with the most tenth voices and the last place.

The Wizards selected Carrngton with the no. 14 selection in the NBA design of 2024 when they were selected by the Portland Trail Blazers against number 14, Deni Avdija sent in the other direction and Malcolm Brogdon, a selection of 2029 in the first round and two seconds.

He joined a strong design class for the wizards when she took the French center Alex Sarr No. 2 and Miami striker Kyshawn George No. 24 in total. Sarr earned NBA all-rookie first team himself.

Carrington led all the NBA rookies with 30.0 minutes per game last season, while with 4.4 assists per game, he scored second place with 1.7 3-hedgehears per game with 81.2% shooting from the free-wire line and 9.3 points per game, with 0.7 steals and 3.7 goals with 33.4. Rang and for ninth place with 4.2 rebounds per game.

He earned a place in the NBA Rising Stars game and recognized the top players among the rookies and in the second year in the league.

On April 3, Carrington dismantled 32 points in career-high-high heights at the defeat of 109-97 against the Orlando Magic at home. He shot 12: 18 from the field, 7-against-10 behind the bow and made a free throw while he was tied with nine rebounds and seven templates just before a triple double.

He ended with five double double in the season, three points and rebounds and two points and assists, with the magicians.

Carrington would also end the season with an acrobatic Summer Theater about Miami Heat in the 119:11 win at the regular season finale on the street on April 13th.

He played with Pitt in his sole season during the 2023-24 campaign, and came out from the St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, MD.

Carrington started all 33 games for Pitt with an average of 33.2 minutes, 13.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game, while 41.2% of the field, 32.2% from 3-point range and 78.5% from the foul line. He received the all-Acc-rookie team, the first Pitt player, for his appearances.

One of his best games came at the start of the season when he scored 18 points, scored 12 rebounds and achieved 10 assists in the victory against North Carolina A&T. He was the first panther to have a triple double in her debut in the program history.

Carrington was the first PITT player who went in the first round since Steven Adams did this when the Oklahoma City Thunder selected him with number 12 in the NBA design in 2013.

He was also the first panther to deserve an NBA selection of the NBA designs since the Atlanta Hawks Lamar Patterson had taken in the second round in 2014.
