The man from Brooklyn Park, who was killed in 7 vehicle crash, caused by “merging conflicts”

The Minnesota State Patrol has identified a man from Brooklyn Park, who was killed on Tuesday morning at Interstate 35-W in Mounds View in an accident with seven vehicles.

The crash occurred on Tuesday at around 10 a.m. on Tuesday on the I-35W towards the south near the County Road I.

The state patrol identified the victim, which was killed from the Brooklyn Park in the crash as a 67-year-old Kirby Schwarzkopf.

The investigators of patrols described the cause of the crash reaction company as a “merger conflict”.

The collision included three semi -trailer trucks, two SUVs, a minivan and a Chevy Impala sedan. Schwarzkopf was in the impala.

No further details were available on the exact cause of the collision.

The patrol said nobody else suffered life -threatening injuries. A total of four people were brought to hospitals to treat non -critical injuries, said the patrol.

Soutbound I-35W in the Mounds View area was closed for almost four hours on Tuesday due to the crash.
