SC rejects petitions against Audio Leaks Commission

Islamabad: On Wednesday, the Supreme Court rejected petitions against the formation of the alleged Audio -Lobs Commission due to ineffective level of awareness.

A five -member constitutional bank under the direction of judge Aminuddin Khan heard the case.

Judge Aminuddin found that the previously formed commission had become inactive, while Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar added that the head of the Commission, Justice Qazi Faez Isa, retired and the other two members were now judges of the Supreme Court.

However, Hamid Khan argued that the Attorney General should clarify whether a new commission is being formed or not. The additional Attorney General Aamir Rehman asked to obtain instructions from the federal government.

Richter Jamal Khan Mandokhail expressed frustration about repeated delays. The bank later rejected the petitions for infructup.
