Arkansa's softball and base teams that trend in different directions in different polls

Fayetteeville – The softball and baseball teams in Arkansas tend in the polls in different directions.

The softball team is located in Softball America No. 2 – the highest ranking in the history of the program.

The Razorbacks (36-10, 12-9) are also third in the D1-Softball ranking, sixth of the USA Today/NFCA-Softball survey and, according to NFCA/Gorout.

Arkansas' softball team, head coach Courtney Deifel, won his last six SEC series and won from a 1-5 start to a binding meat for fifth place in the overall ranking with Florida.

No. 1 Oklahoma (42-5, 16-5) leads the race, while Texas A & M (41-8, 14-6), Tennessee (39-11, 14-7) and Texas (43-9, 13-8).
Arkansa's host No. 10 LSU (39-11, 11-10) Thursday and Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m.

In the meantime, all college baseball surveys still see the Diamond Hogs as one of the best dozen teams in the country, but only two of the five see them as Top Six One.

The survey of USA Today Coaches has Arkansas Fifth, NCBWA sixth, Baseball America 10th, D1 Baseball 11. And Perfect Game 12 ..

The razorbacks were a consensus No. 1 on April 7, but have since sunk three series in a row for the first time since 2016. The 9: 5 loss on Sunday in Florida was the sixth liga loss in nine games after Arkansas started the Seclate 12-1.

After the start of season 31-3, the Diamond Hogs only have 6-6 in their last 12 games.

A planned game on Tuesday against Missouri State in Springfield, Mon., was canceled due to the expected bad weather.
The SEC slate will not be easier this week because Arkansas takes place on Thursday evening at 6 p.m., Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. No. 1 (37-5, 19-2) (37-5, 19-2)

The Longhorns leads the league race with 5 games against Arkansas and LSU (36-9, 14-7) and six via Tennessee (35-9, 13-8).
