The employee of Lamont Jones caught at the heated moment outside the polling station when he passed a heated moment

City Councilor Lamont Jones made an explanation after a video was released on Tuesday on social media, in which one of his campaign members showed heated interaction outside of a polling station.

A witness who posted the video with Facebook claimed that the employee had Mayor Wanda Williams Schrie, who can be seen in one of the videos.

The candidate -Ton Cook can also be seen in the video, which seems to be to defend Williams and other voters.

Jones published the following explanation on CBS 21 Tuesday afternoon:

I do not tolerate violence against Mayor Wanda Williams. I actually called them and apologized for these actions. This is not what I represent. I don't represent that in my campaign, I never have it. People are people – it is not me, it is nothing that I encouraged not to tolerate this behavior. This does not represent me or what I bring with me to present the city of Harrisburg at all.

Lamont also made it clear that the campaign employee was not on his salary statement in the video and only stopped food and literature.

CBS 21 has contacted Mayor Williams and Tone Cook for an explanation.
