Crash closes us 35

Mason County, W.Va. (Wsaz) – The USA 35 is closed in Mason County near the Jeffers Ridge Road north of the Putnam County Line on Tuesday evening after a crash, West Virginia 511 reported.

The crash was reported to Mile Marker 2.59 before 6:30 p.m.

According to the Ministry of Transport in West Virginia, the Wrack affects three Sattelzuger.

The head of Mason County's sheriff, Chris Zerkle, said that several injuries were reported. The extent of the injuries is now unknown.

He said a Semi was circling, which caused other crashes.

According to WV 511, all lanes are closed.

Zerkle advised the drivers to avoid this area and said it was not clear how long it will remain closed.

The first aiders include the Mason County Sheriff office, West Virginia State Police, the Point Pleasant Fire Department and the Mason County Ems. State DOH crews are also managed in this way.
