24 GB VRAM at 32 GBit / S & 10752 Kernen at 400 W+

The first specifications of the GeForce RTX 5080 Super Nvidia were leaked by Kopite7kimi, with 24 GB VRAM and a fully activated GB203 chip unveiled.

NVIDIAS GeForce RTX 5080 Super for packing the full GB203 GPU -The & 24 GB VRAM with 32 GBit / s.

Some time ago it was reported that Nvidia worked on a great series -update of the RTX 50 series. This list would contain a number of updated specifications, especially for the memory configurations, and it looks as if Kopite7kimi had more details.

According to the leak, which was traveling with its previous leaks, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Super keeps the full GB203 core configuration of the RTX 5080 with 10752 cores, but the GPU-SKU is changed from GB203-400 to GB203-450, and the PCB is pg147-SKU35.

It is stated that the card is operated with a TBP of 400 W+, which is higher even at 400 W 40 W 40 than the not Super-RTX 5080, although it makes sense if Nvidia the chip is much higher and the storage specifications that we talk about a little to give a good reason why the number of power has been raised so much.

So when you come to the storage specifications, it is stated that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Super 24 GB VRAM in a 256-bit bus with 32 GBIT / SBITs via the 30 GBIT / s used by the non-super variant is a 2 Gbit / S base over the 30 GBIT / S. Being, and this gives us the full 1 TB/s bandwidth that we had indicated a long time ago.

This is a 6.6% bump of the memory bandwidth and since the core configuration remains the same, we can expect 5% in the RTX 4080-super-player performance, although they will look very tempting for those who have been waiting for the 16 GB-RTX 5080.

RTX 5080 Super VS RTX 5080 NOT SUPER:

  • Same kernels, but other GB203 Sku (450 opposite 400)
  • Possibly higher clock speeds
  • 24 GB VRAM compared to 16 GB VRAM (+50%)
  • Same 256-bit bus interface
  • 6.6% higher GDDR7 speeds (32 Gbit / s compared to 30 Gbit / s)
  • 6.6% more bandwidth (1024 GB/s compared to 960 GB/s)
  • 11.1% higher TBP (400W+ against 360 W)

At the moment there is no word about when Nvidia will start the RTX 50 Super Series and has not yet talked about these cards, not even in the Computex Show Floor, but it looks like we get updates in the second half of this year, whereby a start may take place at the end of 2025 or on the CES 2026.
