Rachel Jared killed at Licking County Car Crash

A Columbus woman was killed and her father and brother were hospitalized in Licking County after an accident with two vehicles on Tuesday, May 20.

Ohio State Highway Patrol said that Anthony Jared, 19, from Columbus, with his father and sister in the SUV, a Ford expedition to the north on Route 37 near Refugee Road: Michael Jared, 42, and Rachel Jared, 21.

At the same time, a Hino -Box -Truck 2019, also from Cory Bealer, 35, also made of Columbus, when Anthony Jared traveled from the Center Lane and left OSHP after a press release.

Anthony and Michael Jared were brought to Mount Carmel East Hospital for their injuries, said Oshp. Rachel Jared was declared dead at the crime scene. Bealer was not injured in the crash.

The OSHP continues to examine the crash. They were supported by Licking County Sheriff's Office, the Licking County Coroner, the West Licking Fire Department, the Granville Fire Department and the Ministry of Transport in Ohio.
