UW-Plateville death examinations break break for Wilgus Hall residents

Platteville, Wisconsin (WMTV) -UW -pletville -make a break for students who live in Wilgus Hall.

“It is also very sad to know that two people with whom I live technically on the floor and one day they accidentally died,” said a newcomer.

The students placed flowers outside the dorm, where two of their classmates died on Monday evening.

“They had the police who accompanied us to our sleep rooms so that we could get a few things so that I could pack a bag there, everything I needed,” said Webbels. “Unfortunately, the first floor had to give her numbers and the police had to get them for her.”

Wuebbels stays with a friend until she can return to her dormitory. In the meantime, the residents of Wilgus Hall received rooms in the Brockert Hall. Students in other dormitories can leave at the semester.

“My RA grabs us and lets us know: 'Hey, you will let you know this evening in the early evening so that you can let in.' But otherwise they are like “Hey, if you don't live in Wilgus, you can go.”

The university provides students with resources while getting out and moving out the final classes.

“I am so glad that Platteville offers us all of this, but it is definitely a difficult thing that you have seen this person and now I'm not going to be anymore,” she said.

The students said they had worked with their professors on their final grades.

Advice is available for the entire UW Platteville community now and all summer.
