Trump pushes GOP -HOLDOUTS on Capitol Hill to support his massive domestic political calculation

Lisa Desjardin:

As we speak, no, they don't. You don't have enough votes in your conference. But they negotiated with some of these holdouts all day.

And I would like to see two important groups of holdouts that remain. The first are moderate Republicans, mainly from New York, but one from California who wish a change in the way the state and local taxes. You want more of a liberation on a higher level for your states.

Now there is another group of holdout at the other end of the ideological spectrum. These are fiscal conservatives, many, if not all, from the House Freedom Caucus. You are concerned about the red ink on this bill. Among other things, you want more cuts for Medicaid editions.

Overall, there is only a lead of three votes for home republicans. This really means that the edge is very small for errors here. And that – do you see this red box? This is Thomas Massie from Kentucky. It is difficult, no. This is a no vote.

Well, these three in yellow, they were none, but today they seem to talk to them, now they seem to be leaning, and why is that, geoff? Because of President Trump. He went into this room today, spoke to the Republicans of the house and had a rally. I could hear the cheers outside the room. He told jokes, sometimes at the expense of his opponents on this bill.

But he really gave them a message that does not create Medicaid and handed over the bill. No details. This is Trump. But he said he passed the bill, and it affected some of the members I spoke to, not all, but some.
