Chicago Cubs Score and Summary (May 20, 200): Cubs 14, Marlins 1

The Cubs fell very well from a hard loss at the start on Monday and hit the Marlins on Tuesday evening in the Landepot Park. Chicago exploded in 6th place for eight runs and converted a narrow game into a rout.

Kyle Tucker brought the northern coils on the board at the opening in the opening of Ryan Weathers with a solo homerun. Miami brought this run back to third place when Nick Fortes scored a Homerun against Jameson Taillon.

The Cubs invited the bases with no one against the reliever Calvin Faucher in the 6th Inning. Dansby Swanson, Pete Crow-Armstrong and Nico Hoerner met successive singles to bring the road team 5-1. Lake Bachar took over for Faucher, but it did nothing to stop the rush.

Justin Turner hit a victim fly and Matt Shaw doubled to increase Chicago's leadership to 7-1. Seiya Suzuki put the cherry with a Homer with two runs on the huge inning and the lead 9-1.

The CUBs set up five other runs against the Infielders Javier Sanoja, who set up in the last framework and won 14: 1. ((Box score)))

Key moment

Chicago has done an excellent job to keep the line in this big inning. Nothing special, just a few singles that were lined up together because they did not subside and repeatedly added insurance.

Why the Cubs won

They had a good start, but the offensive explosion was clearly the key factor in this.

Statistics that are important

  • Taillon was much better after a few shaky excursions: 7 IP, 1 R, 4 H, 2 K, 3 BB.
  • Tucker had three goals and made the ball very good fluctuations.
  • Suzuki also took three goals and had four RBIs.
  • Shaw just looks so much better on the plate and has set up some good good ones with two goals.

Conclusion

The Cubs quickly deleted the bad taste of the game on Monday and smashed the Marlins. Back with Ian Happ and Shaw from Iowa has her full strength. The damage you have done is already showing how much fun things could get now.
