Brad Stevens and the Celtics have several difficult decisions to make this low season when it comes to losing the salary statement and adopting impact starters.

However, the NBA design of 2025 also approaches on June 25th, with Boston holding the 28th and 32nd overall picks.

It remains to be seen whether Stevens and Co. can identify an impact talent towards the end of the first round, but in a sham design, Boston will add an urgently needed size in advance.

The NBA analyst Kevin O'Connor has a new 2025 -Mock design on Yahoo! The sport on Monday, with O'Connor predicts that the Celtics come in the center of the 28th election from Georgetown from Georgetown.

“The Celtics have to think about the future of the middle position, and Sorber could be absolutely a bargain in this part of the design,” wrote O'Connor. “Sorber is unlikely that Sorber participated in the Court workouts due to a foot injury, which ended his first semester year in Georgetown after only 24 games, but because of his brick frame and the right Throwback-Skill set, he still projects as a selection in the first round.

“He sets strong screens, scores with soft touch surfaces and has coarse-grained drop coverage instincts.”

Sorber's injury could affect his draft stock, but it could also be a chance for a team like the Celtics to plunge to a player whose skills could lead to the NBA ranks. During his first season with the Hoyas, Sorber scored an average of 14.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.5 steals per game over 24 competitions.

During a previous scouting report on Yahoo! Sport, O'Connor compared Sorber with the NBA Bigmen Jonas Valančiūnas and Jusuf Nurkić.

The Celtics were able to revise a large part of their front square in this low season. Luke Korket is not only an upcoming free agent, but also a veteran striker/center Al Horford had not reached the NBA after his 18th season.

Boston under contract the Star Center Kristaps Porzingis in 2025-26. But he has dealt with injuries and illnesses in the last two seasons, while his contract could possibly be moved to relieve the impending luxury tax penalties of the Celtics.
