13 suspects arrested in the Armenian crime ring; Sun Valley, California at home attacked under the locations

Los Angeles – A federal breasts ended with the arrest of 13 suspects associated with an organized crime ring in Armenian crimes. Her strong charges include murder, kidnapping, illegal firearm possession, banking and cable fraud as well as more than 80 million US dollars for online freight theft.

Air7 with our sister station, ABC7 Eyewitness News in Los Angeles, flew through the investigation in the house on the Cabernet Court in the Sun Valley district, where Swat teams from the nearby police authorities Burbank and Asa surrounded the area.

According to the US lawyer Bilal A. Essayli's office in Los Angeles, 13 members of an Armenian organized crime syndicate were arrested in the operation.

The US law firm also said that 83 million US dollars were stolen by the online retailer Amazon as part of a freight theft by members of the syndicate. These members were taken into custody on Tuesday.

In a written declaration, the deputy deputy director of home protection examinations in Los Angeles said: “This transnational criminal organization, which was carried out with the structure and brutality of an international cartel, which is significantly harmful to public security and causes significant damage to legitimate trade and supply chains.”

According to reports, the law enforcement authorities confiscated around $ 100,000 in cash during the company on Tuesday, three armored vehicles and 14 firearms.

After the camera, the neighbors told the Eyewitness News that the residents of the Sun Valley house moved about five years ago. They said that there was a regular activity in the house.

They said that the investigators showed home protection on Tuesday around 4 a.m. at the location.

The investigators of the US public prosecutor and the investigators of the home protection investigations said that the men who were arrested on Tuesday all worked on expanding and maintaining control over their criminal company in San Fernando Valley.

According to affidavit, the organized crime by Armenian, a Russian mafia-connected transnational criminal organization, has made Los Angeles County a center of US operations. Since 2022, two local guides within the organization, also known as Avtoritet, which means “authority” in Russian importance, allegedly a power struggle for control in their territory, which leads to several attempts to murder and kidnapping.

Officials said they are still looking for another suspect.

Essayli's office called the following people who are calculated in relation to the operation:

  • Ara Artuni, 41, by Porter Ranch – accused of attempted murder
  • Robert Amiryan, 46, from Hollywood – accused of kidnapping (Artunis rival)
  • Vahan Harutyunyan, 50, from Hollywood, Florida – kicked in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Tuesday and was imprisoned
  • Levon Arakelyan, 45, from Las Vegas – currently imprisoned in state imprisonment in non -related matters
  • Ivan Bojorquez, 33, from Gardena – currently arrested in state imprisonment in non -related matters

Artuni is accused of ordering the attempted murder of Amiryan in the summer of 2023. Amiryan allegedly conspiredly conspired with members of his own criminal organization to kidnap and torture one of Artuni employees in June 2023.

Essayli's office said that Artuni and his criminal company had registered with Amazon as airlines, contractually and then distracted themselves from the route and stolen the shipment during the transport of the goods. They said that Artuni and his employees had also carried out a “credit card buste-out” program in which they calculated different credit cards to a false business and then derived the business account before the credit card companies could obtain the controversial funds.

The US law firm says that if they are convicted, the 13 arrested people between 10 years and life are faced with prison.
