Man arrested, accused in Greene County four years ago because of his nephew's death

Springfield, Mo. (Ky3) – A Grand jury from Greene County charged a man four years ago because of his nephew's death.

Bruce Long, 63, is captured in the Greene County prison because of the second degree murder. The sheriff's office says he was arrested in Clarke County, Iowa.

On June 4, 2021, the Highway Highway Highway workers discovered the residual human remains near Farm Road 59 and the Farm Road 94 in Bois d'Arc, Missouri. The remains were identified as Russell Long, 39, from Willard, Mo,.

Russell Long was reported as missing on April 6, 2021. He was last seen by family members on March 31, 2021 in a family house of a family member in Willard.

The investigators have not published a motive or details about how long died.
