Amen Thompson creates the NBA story in Rockets-Warriors Game 5

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Houston Rockets in two consecutive games in order to take over a lead of the 3-1 series in the first round, expected in the first round. Unfortunately, for the warriors, their hot series came to a screeching end.

The Rockets dominated the Warriors in the first half of the game on Wednesday and took a dominant half in the lead of 76: 49. The Warriors were completely closed in the first half, which was highlighted by a zero point by a first quarter of the superstar Point Guard.

Houston thrived on the defensive side of the ball this season and had to fully lean into this force to have a chance against the warriors while being exposed to a 3-1 deficit.

The top defensive star of Houston, Amen Thompson, closed in her dominant first half. Thompson was fifth in the NBA defensive player of the year this season, and his skills at this end of the floor were fully equipped.

Thompson ended the first half with 11 points, two templates and five steals at 3-6 shooting from the floor and 5-6 from the free sausage line. The 22-year-old was the youngest player in NBA history, who recorded more than 10 points and 5+ steals in half a playoff game.

Thompson was incredible for Houston this season and and his twin brother Ausar already became a sporty anomaly. The Thompson Twins have taken over the league with its crazy sportiness and its defensive skills of the elite, and the rockets have to play amen at this level to have a chance against Golden State.
