Medford Soccer, Wausau Wild, use rainy day to win victories

Wausau, Wisconsin (WSAW) – In one day, many spring sports were postponed or canceled on Tuesday because of the weather, area football and the Lacrosse team. At the end of the day, Medford Soccer and The Wausau Wild won victories.

First Medford went to Mosinee and won a 1-0 win on the field. The goalkeepers had a showdown with the game 1-0 in the second half, but in the end the Raiders' goal turned out to be a difference in the first half. Medford is now 4-4 in the conference.
