New video suggests that Palisades fire ignition was burned just a few days earlier

New videos suggest that the ignition point of the Palisaden fire had burned only a few days earlier.

In the months since the devastating fire on January 7, the residents were rebuilt and asked what the fire triggered, which broke through thousands of houses.

The videos, which were recently reported by the San Francisco Chronicle, can indicate an answer. They show another fire that burned near the same area near Skull Rock Trailhead days before on New Year's Day.

Alertcalifornia cameras, which were powered by UC San Diego, recorded that day when flames were seen in the hills above the Pacific palisades. A week later, they learned a large part of the same when the palisade fire exploded.

Experts say that the videos show an important connection side by side. They told the chronicle that the two fires that burn only a few days apart in the same area was too much to be a coincidence, and that it was probably the ignition of some new embers that may have been left behind by the firefighters of Los Angeles when the historical winds began to close the area.

In response to the analysis of the newly released film material, the office for alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives, which process the origin of the fire, divided an explanation.

“ATF is currently still investigating the incident with Palisade Fire. ATF -certified fire investigator … and other specialists are working hard to determine their origin and cause,” the explanation said. “No final conclusions were drawn at this point.”

Investigators recently led a controlled fire test To pursue the path of fire.

Los Angeles Fire Department officials have not yet answered the request from CBS News Los Angeles.

The residents are desperate for answers.

“There must be an accountability if something is wrong. It would be great to find out what really happened, but as I said, it only looks a bit sketchy,” said Jason Bradshaw, who lives in the area.

There is no schedule when the examination of the ignition cause is completed.
