20 people killed on the streets of Nebraska in April

Lincoln, along with (NDOT press release) -In April 2025, twenty people were killed in traffic accidents on Nebraska roads.

These 20 deaths occurred in 19 fatal accidents. Four of the fifteen vehicle residents did not use seat belts, seven used a seat belt and four had the use of the seat belt as unknown.

Fourteen deaths were in rural places. There was a death on the Interstate, ten on other motorways and nine on local roads.

One of the deaths was a pedestrian. Four of the deaths were motorcyclists.

There were 24 deaths in April 2024. Only 19 of the occupants used by vehicles used in 2025.
