The New Orleans police say that 18-year-old Evans Rogers and 22-year-old Devante Traylor are accused of murder because of murder outside of Brooks' house because of murder.

NOPD says that they are still in the care of the Jefferson Parish sheriff office after led the day after the Swat shootout and other officers in a four-hour pats situation in a hotel Terrytown.

Johnson says she demands justice.

“I never had to deal with something like this in my life,” she said.

The NOPD did not confirm whether the investigators are looking for other suspects associated with the shootout, but the agency said they want to question Kerry Sterling, the uncle of Traylor.

At this point, NOPD says that Sterling is only one person of interest in the case, but could have information about the alleged connection of his nephew to crime.

However, Sterling is currently on the bond because he allegedly helped his sister Kyana Traylor – Devante Traylor's mother – to remove a ankle monitor.

Matt Dennis, co -founder of ASAP release, the company of which monitors the ankle monitor, it is best that Sterling could work with the police or that he could risk having difficulties in both cases.

“I would encourage him to fill detectives very quickly,” said Dennis. “The way the Louisiana law works is, if he does not want to work together, we can bring him against his will and bring him to prison because of his current charges.”
