Cardinals fill out the box points

Struther's Oh-Ryan Reese was on the plate and on Tuesday with 3 against 3 and threw four strong innings to run away with a 14:4 win against Springfield.

The cardinals jumped early onto the tigers. Andrew Bushey tore an RBI single into the line in the first line, and Ford Stacy added a sack fly to provide Mooney a fast 2-0 lead. Then came the second inning and things got loud there.

In the second, Mooney hung a five-point litman one-the Litman knocked into one, Reese added a two-time single, Bushey doubled another home, and Stacy ended him with another RBI knocking. At the end of the third it was 8-0 after Reese secured again to keep his perfect day on the plate.

Reese also took care of the business on the bump, went four innings and only gave up two goals and a run while he was roaming seven. He also helped his own cause – to delete in three runs and wipe three pockets.

Mooney's offensive stacked 15 goals that day. Litman also drove three, while Bushey, Taco Verroco, Kaden Reese and Stacy had all multi-hit games. Gentile collapsed with two walks, and the squad drew eight overall and showed great discipline on the plate. They were also aggressively on the base paths – five stolen bases, with Reese citing the indictment.

For Springfield, Ben Catlos and Jack plans one goal, and thanks to RBIs from Daylin Barber, Alec Fusco, Plant and Michael McAllister, the tigers scratched four runs. They also took seven walks and made a double game in defense, but could not keep up with Mooney's firepower. Next, the cardinals will organize Liberty on Friday to keep the bats hot.
