The victim of the individual vehicle accident on Saturday morning near the Davies Henderson County Line was identified as a 34-year-old Owensboro woman.

According to Brad Youngman, Sheriff of Davies County, the victim Ashley Stark, who was declared dead at the scene. The accident was registered on Saturday at around 5 a.m. in the 10400 block of US 60 West, where emergency crews removed a vehicle about 30 feet from the road and a broken utility pole nearby.

A preliminary examination of the DCSO accident reconstruction showed that for unknown reasons, the vehicle drove the road to the west, hit and rolled the pension rod before it was partially dipped in water in one field.

Youngman said that the study found that her home had reported strongly about an hour before the accident and that the weather was not considered a factor.

“Our accident reconstruction team was able to confirm your whereabouts before discovering the crash scene,” said Youngman. “Before that, we were not sure how long before discovering the crash had occurred, and of course that asked us whether the weather had played an outstanding role. After the timeline was confirmed, we were able to find that the weather was not a direct factor.”

The US Highway 60 was closed in both directions, while the fire brigade of Davies County, the fire brigade of Stanley and the Kenergy crew reacted to the scene and replaced the supply rod. The street was expected to reopen in the morning.
