See the NYC Fleet Week Parade from ships live – NBC New York

Fleet Week New York returns to the port of New York this week, with family -friendly activities and tours for the public. And we start the entire campaign with the parade of ships.

The iconic parade of the ships is Wednesday morning. The exact timing is not clear, but the parade usually starts after 7:30 a.m. and runs for a few hours. The ships will travel from the Verrazano bridge over the New York harbor and to Piers 86-90 in the Hell's Kitchen near the fearless museum.

It is expected that the ships will invest at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

When is the Fleet Week in New York City 2025?

The celebrations will take place from May 21 to 27 and, according to an announcement, include two US Navy ships, two coast guard and five US patrol boats from the US Navy Academy Yard boat.

This year's topic is “honor of the past, defense of the future: 250 years of Sea Service Excellence”, while the Marine and Marine Corps celebrates its 250th birthday.

The USS New York will be one of the stars of the show. The amphibious transport dock ship was commissioned in 2009 and comprises steel of the World Trade Center.

The annual parade of the ships When the participating ships arrive in New York City, takes place on Wednesday morning, while the ships drive past the New York harbor and the Hudson River in Manhattan and the New Jersey Waterfront.

Activities in the fearless museum of fleet week

The fearless museum organizes the activities of Fleet Week from May 23 to 26, including the annual free film evening on the flight deck on Friday, May 23. This year's film will be Top Gun with Tom Cruise in his role as “Maverick”.

Military competitions and challenges will take place on Saturday and Sunday in the museum from 12 noon to 4 p.m.

Further activities and performances will take place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
