Mirabaud extends the British property presence with senior rent

Mirabaud & Cie (Europe) has appointed David Smith as director, Relationship Manager, since the company has further expanded its presence on the British asset management market.

Smith, based in London and reporting to Stuart Bates, UK Market Head, will be responsible for the provision of customized asset management services for managers with a high network and family business in the UK. He brings more than 22 years of experience in advice for private customers for prosperity.

Smith joins RBC WEALTH Management, where he worked as a relationship manager to offer tailor-made asset solutions for highly developed high-network values ​​and ultra-high-net cubes.

His mandate included investment management, lending, financial advice and trust services. During his term, he built a customer book that was around 400 million GBP in combined assets and liabilities.

Before the RBC, Smith worked at the private bank Arbuthnot Latham & Co., where he concentrated on HNW and UHNW customers, with the Middle East.

He was instrumental in supporting the company's first international office in Dubai and establishing new customer portfolios on 25 most important customers during his tenure. Smith started his career in 2002 at Coutts & Co ..
