1 killed, 1 injured in Lakeland Convenience Store Shooting: Police

At a shootout in a Lakeland Convenience Store, a man was dead and wounded a 19-year-old woman.

According to the Lakeland police authority, the shootout occurred shortly before 6.10 p.m. on Tuesday in the Fast Stop Convenience Store, 820 E. Memorial BLVD. in Lakeland.

The police say that a 39-year-old man was shot and died at the scene.

A 19-year-old woman was also shot and, according to the Lakeland police department, is in a stable state.

The suspect was arrested and questioned by detectives.
