1 killed, 1 injured in overnight shooting in the Peoria Sports Bar

Peoria, AZ (Azfamily) – One person died and another seriously injured after a shootout on Tuesday evening in a sports bar in Peoria.

The police reacted shortly before midnight in the Deli Sports Bar near Loop 101 Agua Fria frea freeway and the Peoria Avenue to the reported shootings. The officials explained a man who was dead at the scene and another person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The man who died has not yet been publicly identified.

Peoria PD said the shootout seemed to have been an isolated event, and there is no threat to the community. They did not say whether a suspect is known or custody.
