Masked burglars steal more than 150,000 US dollars in Parkland Home – Parkland Talk's valuables

The Broward County's office in Parkland reacted to various incidents between May 13 and May 19, 2025. Below you will find a detailed report on the incidents and arrests treated by the local law enforcement authorities.

Baker Act
May 13th -A woman with a traumatic brain injury was transported to the Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Health Hospital after the threat of self -harm and the expression of suicide thoughts during a domestic disorder.

May 15th – A man was taken into protective custody and brought to the Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Hospital after explaining that he wanted to injure himself.

Burglary
9th to May 14th – A license plate was stolen from a trailer on a construction site. Estimated loss: $ 20.

May 16 – Two masked suspects forced a back sliding door and stole valuables worth more than 150,000 US dollars from a residence.

Battery – domestic violence
May 17th – A woman was arrested because she had beaten her mother during a verbal argument. The victim suffered bruises on her forearm.

November 24, 2024 – May 15, 2025 – A suspect used a woman's identity to submit a fraudulent rent.

April 24 – May 14th -A man reported that an ex-girlfriend continued to contact him after a six-month matter.

May 14th – A school campus monitor was removed from the property by administrators at the request of administrators.

May 14th – A woman reported on the behavior of a neighbor. No threats or history of violence were discovered.

May 15th – The MPs checked a residence and found no signs of domestic violence.

May 15th – After an injunction, a firearm, ammunition and hidden support permits were abandoned.

May 16 – A teenager was observed what turned out to be a pellet rifle after a neighborhood party.

May 17th – A civilian dispute between a construction company and a caller was installed on site.

May 18th – A cyclist was injured with a security goal after collaboration and transported to Broward Health Coral Springs.

May 15th – The investigators checked details in connection with a cold fall murder reported in Pompano Beach.

Arrest
May 17th – Lesley Ann Sawdye, 33, was arrested due to an offense of a domestic battery.
