Waterloo – The Muskegon Lumberjacks were waiting for a Ushl Clark Cup championship for 15 long years.

The long wait is finally over when the lumberjacks overcame everything that the Waterloo Black Hawks thrown on them on Tuesday evening. And for the third game in a row, it took overtime to decide a winner.

Jack Christ pushed the puck at 6:01 a.m. by Waterloo goalkeeper Carter Casey at 6:01 a.m. and the celebration took place in the Young Arena in Iowa when Muskegon scored a 4: 3 victory. It was the third goal of Christ of the game.

The Lumberjacks won the third game of the series at home with a goal by Ivan Ryabkin. The Black Hawks reacted to Muskegon in game 4 to force the fifth and decide the game in Waterloo.

“I still process everything,” said Christ during the on-day celebration. “It was a long year and it feels good to finally win it.

“This is things that you do as a child in the garage, and it is incredible to finally achieve one. It's nice to win one. I hope the city is ready to celebrate. It will be a few fun days here.”

The President of Lumberjacks, Steve Lowe, imagined that this team won everything, and for him he was excited, finally paid out his work and the rest of the hard work of the organization.

“It is bitter because there were owners in front of us who invested in the team,” said Lowe. “Pete Herms lets me take my vision of a young team and develop a product. This is the end result. I couldn't be happier for the city of Muskegon to finally do it.”

The head coach of Lumberjack Parker Burgess is one of many coaches who had the opportunity to bring the team to the promised country, and he was grateful that he was the one who did it.

“I am very proud and honored that we are those who deliver this city a championship,” said an emotional citizen. “Endurance and resilience. These children played so hard for each other. We are champions, and we will always be remembered as the team that Muskegon brought the trophy, and it is astonishing. It also belongs to Muskegon.”

The lumberjacks were not impressed by the crazy amount of Waterloo when they took the lead 2-0 in the opening time.

Tynan Lawrence, the most valuable player in the playoff, opened the goal 3:53 in the first period on a shot from the top of the left Faceoff district. David Deputy achieved the only assist.

Christ scored his first of three goals at the 14:03 mark to increase the advantage of the Jacks to 2-0. Chase Stefanek and Finn McLaughlin Assists.

The Black Hawks responded with a goal 4:03 to the second period of Brendan McMorrow.

It looked like the lumberjacks against a goal from David Klee were in the lead in the 14: 59 mark, but after a review it was lifted due to goalkeeper interference.

Waterloo fully took advantage of the no-goal and brought the game a little more than a minute later at 4:20 p.m. by Reid Morich.

The lumberjack jacks jumped back to take the lead with the second goal of the game of Christ in the last period of the last period, and Muskegon restored his advantage.

The Black Hawks would not disappear because they tied the game again. Hunter Ramos found the back of the network 11:30 a.m. to tie the game 3: 3 and force a third game in a row in a row.

Christ completed the hat trick and scored the gaming goal 6:01 into the additional time to drive Muskegon to the Clark Cup championship. Christ broke on the left wing and made his way to the front of the network, where he turned the puck under Casey for the gate gate under Casey. Jack Galanek and McLaughlin assisted.

Lawrence scored eight goals and scored 10 templates for 18 in 14 playoff games for his MVP price. The goalkeeper Shikhabutdin Gadhiev also set MVP numbers with an 8-0 record, a 2.03-gate average and a percentage of 0.935. David Deputy led all the scorers in the playoffs with 10.
