Yordan Alvarez offers nightmare injury update on his injured hand

When the Houston Astros Yordan Alvarez was asserted on the 10-day injury list with a right hand-infection on May 5, the hope was that this stint allowed his body to become 100% healthy and at the same time deliver a reset on his plate.

The Superstar Slugger hadn't looked as it started the year, and it seems as if this hand problem was a main reason.

What was expected that it was a minimum time on the shelf has turned into a long stay.

But last weekend, manager Joe Espada made a certain optimism that Alvarez could return in a short time, just to have completely forbid this term with his latest comments from the Slugger himself.

According to Matt Kawahara by The Houston Chronicle, Alvarez explained that he was still in pain when he swings the racket, and although it “gets better, much better”, he is not pain-free when he beats a T-shirt.

This is a massive development when it comes to his return time bar.

The Astros will not drive him to return until it is fully healthy, and since his diagnosis is improved to a load in his right hand, it is not clear when to reach this point.

In order to make things even more complicated, this has been working for some time.

“It influenced me,” said Alvarez. “Not only the pain in hand, but also mentally influenced.”

Combine this comment with the one that still has pain in your hand when swinging, and this feels like a longer absence than the expected return, which is expected to come later in May.
