Driver ejected, killed in the crash of Sevier County after withdrawing soldiers

Salt Lake City – One person was killed on the Interstate 70 on Tuesday evening after she had fled and crashed from the Utah Highway Patrol Troopers before fleeing, says UHP.

Shortly before 10:45 p.m., a vehicle fell behind a soldier who drove east. The soldier first left the car over and then tried, according to Lt. To pull cam blinds with UHP.

However, the car would not stop, he said, and it continued with a high speed rate. The soldiers then tried to stop spikes near Mile Marker 40, but the car continued, said Roden.

At Mike Marker 43 near Richfield, the spikes were tried again, but the car turned right to avoid it and left the street. The car rolled and led to the driver being ejected.

The soldiers began to save the driver's life and a medical helicopter was flown on site. However, the driver died of their injuries before they could be flown, said Roden.

UHP did not give the driver's name.
