The 13-year-old dies in the prophecy crash

Prophecy, Ill. (KWQC)-A 13-year-old boy died in an accident on Wednesday afternoon.

Officials of the Whiteside County said that at 3:30 p.m. MPs went the 18000 block of the Lomax Road for a crash between an SUV and a dirt bike.

When they arrived, the MPs found a not responding 13-year-old boy who later died.

The identity of the 13-year-old was not published, but the superintendent of prophecy-lyndon-tampico cusd #3, Heidi L. Lensing, shared the following explanation with KWQC TV6 News.
