Viral Video Spark's debate from Chargers' debate as a controversial player is left out

The La Chargers organized a voluntary offseason program in front of OTAS this week and the video that came from the team itself.

The absences in these videos are just as meaningful as those included. And while SLO-MO exercise videos for the regular season mean absolutely nothing, you can confirm earlier prejudices from certain players. This is definitely the case with Johnston.

Keandre Lambert-Smith, Ladd McConkey and Oronde Gadsden II catch passes by Justin Herbert in the video. While Johnston is not the only charger that has not made the short clip, his absence speaks the loudest.

Chargers leave Quentin Johnston from Justin Herbert Hype Video

The simplest explanation for Johnston's absence is that he is not worth playing the short highlight clip. Johnston is not necessarily known to be consistent and the chargers will not publish a video of him that drops a pass.

And yes, Johnston was present there. A video by Herbert, who made Zion Johnson snapshots, showed Johnston a Jet -Sweep over the Scrimmage line. Johnston was definitely there, he just didn't do anything of a 30-second hype clip.

This would mean nothing for every other player in the chargers, but it means a lot for Johnston. This is someone who was very disappointing in his first two seasons, who has to earn every single snapshot that he plays in 2025.

The path to improvement and reliable weapon in the passing game does not begin in the previous season, but not in the training camp. It started before these programs outside the season, and at the moment Johnston could be behind the schedule.

To be honest, Charger's fans don't lose sleep over this reality. Chargers' fans only want to see Johnston if he deserves it in 2025. Until the fans can actually see the chargers in action with their own two eyes, these highlight clips provide all the information you can get.

Does this mean that Johnston has a bad season that effectively ends his career as chargers? Absolutely not. But it keeps an early hype away and does not allow the fans to shop for the former TCU Wideout in the third year.
