The inmate in the center of the death poses the final request to the victim's family after he set fire to the older woman – crime

An inmate in the death cell gave a terrifying final request to his victim's family shortly before his executed week (May 20).

Matthew Lee Johnson was sentenced to death after he had sprayed 76-year-old Nancy Harris with lighter liquid and set fire to in 2012 in a robbery in a supermarket in Texas.

Court documents occurred that Johnson had poured Harris the lighter liquid before insisting that she opened the cash register.

The death series inmate presented its orientation before it fled. Harris – a mother and grandmother – was taken to the hospital and unfortunately died a few hours later.

Johnson was arrested shortly afterwards and admitted to the crime, but claimed that he didn't want to do any damage.

The suspect said he used the lighter liquid to intimidate Harris and was under the influence of substances.

Johnson died on Tuesday (May 20) by fatal injection, about 13 years after he had committed the crime.

Just a few moments before his execution this week, Johnson turned to Harris' family – who was only a foot away from a window – and asked for forgiveness.

He said, “When I look at each of you, I can see them that day. I ask for your forgiveness. I never wanted to hurt her.

“I pray that she is the first person I see when I open my eyes and with whom I spend eternity. I have made false decisions, I have made false decisions and now I pay the consequences.”

In his 2013 trial, Johnson called himself the “lowest foam of the earth”.

“I hurt an innocent woman. I took a person's life. I was the reason for this. It was not my intentions to kill her or hurt her, but I did it,” said the inmate of the death cell.

During his time in the death point in Texas, Johnson submitted a number of vocations about his conviction, but everyone was ultimately unsuccessful.

Before his death, Johnson apologized to his wife and daughters that they give up and said: “I only know that it is nothing that they did. I made false decisions, I have made false decisions and now I pay the consequences.

“I would like to thank the Lord in the past 13 years. He gave me the opportunity to ask for his forgiveness and I thank him for his redemption.

“Welcome me, father, thank you to each of you for being here. I'm done, supervisor.”

He also thanked the prison staff that he helped me and treated me like a man and treated me with fairness and gave me the opportunity to get into the right overall ranking with my master.
