Emass Baseball Roundup: Catholic Memorial Sacks GO-AHEAD Score to defeat Saint Johns (Shrewsbury)

The baseball teams of the Catholic Memorial and Saint Johns (Shrewsbury) were entered in the last inning on Wednesday afternoon.

Both teams fought throughout the competition and fit each other for Run.

At the top of the seventh, the Crusaders (5-7) found a spark on the offensive and achieved the starting time to defeat the pioneers (11-2) with a final result of 4: 3.

Liam McKinney hit two hits, two runs and an RBI. Carson McCarthy scored two goals and two RBIs, Marshall Kehlhem secured a run and a hit, and Estiben Cruz Piñatas crossed home for a run.

On the hill for the Crusaders, Liam Fitzmaurice performed the whole game and allowed five goals and three runs against a hard team from Saint Johns (Shrewsbury).

The Catholic Monument broke the pioneers' five-game victory and will bring this swing if she will face Xaverian on Monday at 4 p.m., while Saint John's (Shrewsbury) will jump back at home against Chelmsford on Thursday.
