Boca high degrees dies hours after the ceremony in accidents: “A brother for me”


Hendry Aceituno Gudiño was 18 years old. He had dreams of high school at the high school and was able to buy his own BMW, said a close friend.

Just a few hours after he celebrated his Abitur, Hendry Aceituno Gudiño was one of the two people who were killed on Interstate 95 in a car accident on May 17th.

Gudiño, an 18-year-old from Riviera Beach, was on the way home with his girlfriend and father at the time of crashing a solemn dinner, said a close friend. He was a former student at the Boca Raton High School.

“Hendry graduated on the same day,” said family members on a gofundme page that created to cover the funeral and moving costs. “A performance for which he had worked hard with commitment and the deep desire to make his mother proud.”

They said it should be one of the happiest days of Gudiño's life.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, three people from Port St. Lucie traveled north in a Chevy Camaro at around 8.40 p.m.

The driver, a 52-year-old man, whose name has not yet been released, lost control of the vehicle near Martin Highway output, traveled across all lanes straight to north and hit a guardrail in the median. He and Gudiño were declared dead at the crime scene.

Gudiño's girlfriend, a 16-year-old, was sitting in the back seat of the car. According to the crash report, the paramedics drove them to a local hospital with non -life -threatening injuries.

Roberto Hurtado, a classmate and close friend of Gudiño, organized the Gofundme page. He and Gudiño met shortly after Gudiño in 2023 had arrived from his home country Venezuela. They combined over Gudiño's time that was spent in Ecuador, where Hurtado, who was a class in front of him.

“He became a brother for me,” said Hurtado. “But life took him away.”

Gudiño dreamed of making his mother Anielka and his late grandmother.

“He had many, many dreams, many goals like everyone else,” said Hurtado. But the first was to have his own BMW. He would tell his friends that he would call it “Goldens BMW”.

Hurtado said that “El Goldo” was the nickname that friends had lovingly called.

“Hendry was a happy person to never laugh,” said Hurtado. “Above all, he was a very loyal person, and whenever they had to talk about a serious topic, he was there. Despite his age, he was a very mature person, and he did not deserve that this happened to him.”

Hurtado said it took almost four hours of family family and friends to receive the confirmation of his death, and that they did not hear it from the police, but from the hospital staff, in which Gudiño's girlfriend was sent.

Boca High announces Hendry Gudiño's death “with great sadness”

The headmaster of the Boca Raton High School, Dr. Suzanne King, spoke to the parents and the faculty in an e -mail on May 19.

“With deep sadness, I share the news that one of our students died unexpectedly at the weekend,” wrote King. “In the name of our school community, I will contact the student's family to express our condolences and offer support.”

In the e -mail, consultants and school psychologists were available on campus for pupils and employees.

“He will always live in our hearts,” said Hurtado. “Although he is not physically here, I know that he is with us and we try our best to give him a good goodbye. And above all to never leave his mother alone, as he only had her and us here in the USA.”
