The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 super specifications are just leaked, which indicates more VRAM at loads

Further leaks point to the start of a new one Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 Super The GPU GPU comes out, and the latest rumor seems to confirm that the new GPU 24 GB VRAM will have instead of 16 GB on the RTX 5080. If this leak is correct, there is not much other – it looks fundamentally like an RTX 5080, but with more VRAM.

Although it only has 16 GB VRAM and a high price of $ 999, the lack of high-end competition is still the RTX 5080 the best graphics card that you can currently buy in this price range. However, as I found in my RTX 5080 review, the comparative lack of VRAM can limit this otherwise powerful Nvidia GPU, which turns over when you try to lead Indiana Jones and the large circle at 4K with path tracking.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Super Specifications estimate

This is our best estimate for the RTX 5080 super -specifications based on leaks and speculations, since no official announcement was made.

Rummed 5080 super specifications
GPU GB203-450-A1
Cuda cores 10,752
RT kernels 84
Tensorle 336
Vram 24 GB 32 GBit / S GDDR7
Storage interface 256-bit
Memory bandwidth 1,024 GB/s
Total graphic performance 400W+

The latest rumor of RTX 5080 Super Specs comes from regular and often reliable Tech Leaker Kopite7kimi, which shared the rumored details in a post on X (formerly Twitter). According to the leak, the RTX 5080 Super is equipped with 24 GB GDDR7 -VRAM, and in contrast to the 30 -Gbit / s memory on the RTX 5080, it is clocked a little higher, so that it runs at 32 Gbit / s. If that is true, it would increase the entire memory bandwidth of 960 GB/s via the 1 -S barrier at 1,024 GB/s.

Otherwise, the leaked specifications are basically identical to those of the Standard RTX 5080, whereby the new GPU is apparently based on the same GB203 core GPU as the original 5080 and is activated with the same number of Cuda cores at 10,752. If this is the case, we can also conclude that the RTX 5080 Super 84 RT cores and 336 tensor kernels has because it is based on the same core architecture as the standard card.

However, the entire graphic performance has apparently also increased from 360 W to over 400W. Part of it is covered by increasing the storage clock rate, but it is also possible that the RTX 5080 has a higher clock speed than the standard 5080.

Although it looks disappointing that the RTX 5080 may only have the same nuclear specification as the Standard 5080, only with more VRAM, I welcome the potential addition of more memory for this high-end GPU. This decision would also be financially useful for Nvidia and its board partners, since it means that graphics card manufacturers can set this new GPU in existing PCB designs for the old GPU, only with 3 GB GDDR7 chips instead of 2 GB.

Of course, as with all tech leaks, this is still very rumored at the moment. Nvidia did not officially announced the RTX 5080, and it cannot even exist.
