Michigan Mann supposedly killed group home residents about Taco Bell

Macomb County, Mi – A man from Michigan submitted a plea for the murder of his roommate in a group house in Macomb County.

Mark Joseph Newsome, 54, from Roseville, did not advocate a competition against homicide on Tuesday, the public prosecutor of Macomb County Peter J. Lucido said.

Newsome killed its roommate Dale Francis Mitchell (72) in Roseville on January 31, 2024.

Officials said that Newsome and Mitchell had reported a physical argument and Fox 2 in Detroit that it was about Essen from Taco Bell.

A third roommate called the police after seeing the fight. On arrival, officials from the Roseville Police Department Mitchell passed out, bleed and injured themselves on the ground.

He was later declared dead in the Ascension Macomb Hospital.

“Mr. Mitchell's life was shortened in the apartment that should have been his safe place,” said Lucido. “The public prosecutor's office of MACOMB County is the victim's voice to achieve justice for this terrible action by Mr. Newsome.”

Newsome will be convicted by judge Richard Caretti on June 24th at 9:30 a.m. It is expected to receive 5 to 15 years in prison.
