Motorcyclists identified in a fatal crash in Southern Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs, Colorado (KKTV)-The motorcyclist in a fatal crash in South Colorado Springs was identified as a 36-year-old Kaylon Thomas, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

According to reports, the police were sent on May 12 at around 5 p.m. with a collapse with a vehicle in the 1000 block of the Florence Avenue.

The medical staff provided help and took the driver Thomas to the hospital for treatment. The police say Thomas died after he had arrived in the hospital.

The large crash team reacted and took over the investigation.

The police say that initial information based on video and testimony stated that the speed was a likely factor in the crash.

The police say that this is the eleventh traffic in Colorado Springs this year. At the same time last year there were 18 traffic fats in Colorado Springs.
