5 After the overdose death of Everett toddler,

The Everett Police Department (EPD) arrested five people in connection with the death of a 13 month old last year.

The civil servants found the toddler passed out on April 24, 2024, when it reacted to an emergency call in a house in the 1400 block of the Casino Road. According to the police, the responding officials found blue pills near the child and smelled a “burning smell that they linked to fentanyl consumption”.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office later decided that the child's cause of death was drug/poisoning.

“Investigators carried out interviews with people who lived at home or visited the house,” said EPD on social media. “In the course of their investigation, it was found that the parties involved had knowledge of the use of narcotics.”

In addition, the investigators stated that they have video evidence for the suspects who use fentanyl in front of small children. According to the police, a search command also covered in most rooms in the house in most rooms in the house that were used to consume narcotics.

“Fentanyl consumption is also indirectly a serious danger to children,” EPD continued in his explanation. “A small amount of fentany residues can be fatal for children, since the medication for a baby or a smaller body of a toddler and the lack of opioid tolerance can be more effective. Pillen can look like sweets, especially if they are colored cheap.”

All suspects were instructed to the Snohomish County prison.
