Saskatchewan gas prices that trends downwards while the rest of the country does the opposite

With regard to the reason why Saskatchewan still sees lower prices than the rest of the country, gas prices in Saskatchewan will probably catch up with the rest of Canada as soon as some refinery problems are found in the USA.

“At the moment there is a little mixed bag. Some areas of Canada, BC, especially in the western provinces of Canada, were affected by some refinery problems on the west coast of the United States, but oil prices have risen again. After they have touched until after 58 US dollars. Optimism that some of the trading policy have now decreased a little,” said de Haan.

In view of the threat of potential tariffs that come from US President Donald Trump, the tariffs themselves had no direct influence on gas prices. This does not mean that they had no effects, since the uncertainty about changing the trade agreement and the conclusion of the Canadian elections let the gas price market run around.

“I mean, the uncertainty this year was something that we have not seen yet, and a lot of it is sudden and abrupt changes and political changes that have come. Canada also look at Canada, the break in the federal carbon tax is something that was only completely unexpected.

With regard to diesel fuel, sowing in Saskatchewan is good and this means that more tractors in the province of Diesel burn in the province.

“We definitely see more diesel consumption at this time of year. We see some challenges with diesel in the states just because refineries also carry out maintenance. In general, we will probably start to make diesel consumption easier, since these cultures in the soil probably see diesel consumption and then prices for diesel in the course of summer, so long no new game cards.”
