The final of the NBA Eastern Conference begins this evening in Madison Square Garden with the three-seeds (51-31), which are offset by the four seeds Pacers (50-32). Tipoff is planned for 8:00 p.m.

This will be the ninth time that Indiana and New York have hit the playoffs. Last last season, when the Pacers defeated the Knicks in the semi -finals of the Eastern Conference last season and ignited this historical rivalry.

The Knicks come into this game with three rest days after their 38-point victory in game 6 against the Celtics. Indiana has traveled longer and rested for a week after he had made Cleveland in five games.

Brunson and the Knicks

The last time the Knicks played in a final of the Eastern Conference, was against Reggie Miller and the Pacers in 2000. New York comes to this series after defeating the incumbent NBA champions. The Knicks were great, even if they won 1 and 2 against the Celtics after 20 points in game 1 and 2.

Jalen Brunson heads the team with an average of 28.8 points and 7.7 templates per game in this off -season. While Karl-Anthony Towns has an average of 11.3 rebounds per game in this off-season, there is a maximum of the four teams in the playoffs.

Haliburton and the Pacers

This is the second conference finale of the Pacers in a row, the last post -season in four games against the later master Celtics.

The Pacers are one of ten teams who have never won the NBA final. They are one of five who were in the final but never won. Indiana's One and the only final appearance took place in 2000 after defeating the Knicks in six games in the post -season.

Tyresian Haliburton and Pascal Siakam hope to lead the Pacers to their second final. A Pacers team that is dismantled by the lonely cavaliers. Indiana has five players with an average of 14.5 points per game in this post.
