Motorcycle drivers killed in the accident on US 6 in Emery County

Woodside, Emery County – a motorcyclist died on Wednesday against US 6 in Emery County, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred shortly before 1 p.m. in the Horse Canyon near Milepost 268 when the motorcycle fell on the back against a semi -truck, said UHP spokesman Lt. Cam Roden. He said the motorcyclist died at the scene.

The accident caused the temporary closure of US 6 in both directions near the intersection with Horse Canyon Road north of Woodside, such as the Ministry of Transport by Utah. Traffic in both directions has been reopened since then.
