Big 12 basketball team Trending for a massive portal name

On Wednesday morning the news broke that a BIG 12 basketball team collected steam for Memphis Transfer PJ Haggerty .

This team is the Kansas State Wildcats, who, according to Hitmen Hoops, reports the dynamics “Haily” to land Hagggerty.

“The state of Kansas has developed as a serious candidate on Memphi's transfer and all-American G PJ Haggerty,” says the report. “NC State was the favorites for the top transfer, but sources add that Kansa's state has the dynamic. Source adds that Kansa's state's financial offer is expected to be stronger than the NC State.”

Last season with the Tigers, Hagggerty received the all-American award with an average of 21.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. It connected 47.6% of the shots from the field, 36.4% from a three -point range and 81.8% from the free -wing line.

The transfer portal was officially opened on Monday, March 24, 2025. According to NCAA data, 1,296 FBS basketball players in the school year 2023-24 entered the transfer portal with 864 (66.7%) students and 432 (33.3%) graduate transmissions. Of the participants, 70% stated that they have enrolled for another school, 6% withdrawn their names from the portal and 23% still active, transferred to a non-NCAA school or left their sport.
