Woodstock Fatal Crash Victim identified as Mchenry Man – Shaw Local

The Mchenry County Coroner Office identified a man who was killed in a car accident in Woodstock on Tuesday morning.

The forensic doctor said Peter Roberts, 35, from Mchenry was the man who died with a vehicle when collapsing. Preliminary knowledge of an autopsy carried out on Wednesday are that, according to a press release, Roberts died of hubs in the head and chest areas on Wednesday.

The Woodstock Fire/Rescue District reacted to the 13600 block of the Kishwaukee Valley Road on Tuesday at 7:51 a.m. The crews found a badly damaged pickup that was wrapped around a tree in a courtyard, said the fire brigade spokesman, Alex Vucha. The paramedics found that Roberts had “succumbed to his injuries” and he was declared dead in the scene, said Vucha.

According to the publication, the forensic doctor's office works with the Woodstock Police Department, the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District and the Mchenry County accident team.

The organizer of a Gofundme donation campaign, which was set up to support Roberts' family, wrote: “Peter has touched the life of so many of us and is always reminded of the beautiful soul he was.”
