The police arrested in January 2024 death of the 16-year-old from New Haven-NBC Connecticut

The New Haven police announced an arrest in January 2024 on Wednesday to shoot the death of a teenager.

The police said she arrested the 22-year-old Gabriyel Fraser and took him into custody on Monday.

He is charged with murder in the death of 16-year-old Malak sweets in New Haven.

Sweets was shot in the Newhall St. on January 29, 2024. According to the police, he was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

The deputy chief of police from New Haven, David Zannelli, said after a lengthy examination that Detectives were able to receive an arrest warrant against Fraser at the beginning of this month.

Fraser is charged with murder. It is recorded in a bond of 2 million US dollars and is due on June 4, according to court files.
